Short answer Softriver and Logomint work the same way: fixed-price packages, human designers, first concepts in about 48 hours and a money-back guarantee with similar conditions. The difference is mostly price and what each tier includes. Softriver charges $280 (1 concept, 2 revisions) and $480 (3 concepts, brand guidelines, social media kit), in US dollars. Logomint charges €129 (1 concept), €199 (2 concepts, unlimited revisions) and €299 (3 concepts, unlimited revisions, brand guidelines, stationery and a social media kit). Softriver suits brands that also want packaging and ad creatives in one package. Logomint suits founders who want the same kind of brand kit for less.

Logomint is our own service, so we’ve kept this comparison to facts you can check. Every Softriver fact below comes from Softriver’s own pages, checked on 28 October 2026, with links at the end. Softriver prices in US dollars and Logomint in euros; we haven’t converted them, because exchange rates change.

Price and what each tier includes

When we checked, Softriver had three packages:

  • Basic, $280: 1 logo concept, 2 revisions, transparent, vector, source and printable files, a colour palette, typography, a 3D mockup, stationery designs and “2 days delivery”.
  • Premium Branding, $480: 3 logo concepts, 3 revisions on the pricing page, complete brand guidelines, logo usage guidelines, a social media kit and a business card design.
  • The Brand Ecosystem, $1,299: everything in Premium Branding, plus social media creatives, Google ad banners, static ad creatives, packaging and merchandise designs, unlimited revisions on your chosen concept and 5 business days’ delivery. Softriver’s site announced that this tier’s price would rise again.

Softriver’s terms say all prices and payments are in US dollars, so a European buyer may pay currency conversion fees.

At Logomint, when you compare like for like:

  • €129 Starter: 1 concept, 2 revisions, all files.
  • €199 Growth: 2 concepts, unlimited revisions, all files.
  • €299 Premium: 3 concepts, unlimited revisions, branding analysis, brand guidelines, stationery design, a social media kit and a 3D mockup.

So the closest pair is Softriver’s Premium Branding at $480 and Logomint’s Premium at €299: both give you 3 concepts and a starter brand kit. Softriver’s Basic includes stationery and a mockup that Logomint’s Starter doesn’t; Logomint’s Growth gives you a second concept and unlimited revisions for €199. How it works and how fast

Both services start the same way: you pay for a package, fill in a brief and receive concepts. Softriver’s terms say “initial logo concepts are typically delivered within 48 hours after the client completes the required intake form”. At Logomint, first concepts arrive within 48 hours of your brief, or 24 hours with rush delivery (+€59), and final files within 7 days.

Our free logo brief generator helps you write a brief for either service.

Both say a human designs your logo. Softriver’s FAQ says its logos are “100% human designed” and that it “never relies on AI”. At Logomint, a senior designer from our team draws every logo; we don’t use AI to generate logos (see can you trademark an AI-generated logo).

Files and ownership

Softriver’s packages list transparent, vector, source and printable files. Its FAQ promises “full ownership and unlimited usage rights” for your logo; its terms add that ownership transfers to you only after full payment and delivery of the final files.

Every Logomint plan includes a transparent logo, vector, printable and source files, and you own the final logo once your project is paid and delivered. In other words, the two work the same way here.

Refunds and guarantees

This is where the two are closest. Softriver’s refund policy gives you a full refund at any time before you approve the first concept; within 7 days of approving one after at least one revision; then, between 7 and 14 days, a partial refund (up to 60% after 1 or 2 revision rounds, up to 40% after 3 or 4). There’s no refund after 14 days, after five or more rounds, or once the final files are delivered or downloaded.

Logomint’s refund policy has the same structure: a full refund before you approve a concept, and within 7 days of approval if the final files haven’t been delivered (after one round of revisions); a partial refund between 7 and 14 days; none after 14 days, after five rounds or once the final files are delivered. On both, the guarantee covers the logo stage of the bigger packages.

When Softriver is the better choice

  • You want packaging, merchandise and ad creatives designed in the same package as your logo.
  • You’d rather pay in US dollars.
  • You only need one concept but want stationery and a mockup in the entry price.

When Logomint is the better choice

  • You want a starter brand kit for less: brand guidelines, stationery and a social media kit cost €299 at Logomint, against $480 for Softriver’s Premium Branding.
  • You want unlimited revisions without paying for the top tier: they start at €199 on Logomint’s Growth plan.
  • You want to pay in euros, with no currency conversion.
  • You’re on a tight budget: a custom logo starts at €129.
